Ceolia Graves! A delightful soul given by God to the late Cleveland and Sarah Graves on a Thursday, March 7, 1940 in Hinds County, Bolton, Mississippi. She was the third child of eight children. She was raised in a God-fearing home where Jesus was a household name. She accepted Christ as her personal Lord and Savior at the age of 13 under the leadership of Reverend H. C. Gross and began her spiritual journey.
Ceolia Graves! A committed and dedicated member of the Hill of Zion Missionary Baptist Church where she served as a Volunteer Custodian, Assistant Sunday School Superintendent, Senior Choir Member, Mission Member and Bible Study Member where she loved being on Zoom until her health failed. She was elevated to the Mother’s Ministry, March 20, 2025. She was a member of Hinds, Madison and Adjoining Counties Christian Institute.
Ceolia Graves! Began her educational journey at the Hill of Zion Public School System. She was a 1959 graduate of the Sumner Hill High School, Clinton, Mississippi. Mathematics was her favorite subject. You could not beat her counting money.
Ceolia Graves! Enjoyed baking, sewing, planting flowers, singing, seek and find word puzzle books, watching TV (Soap Operas and Game Shows) and being with family and friends. She was the best mother, grandmother and great grandmother a family could ever wish/hope for.
