IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Webster M.
Singleton
May 26, 1953 – December 19, 2025
Mr. Webster M. Singleton was born on May 26, 1953, in Raymond, Mississippi, to the late Will and Pearl J. Singleton. He was the twelfth of fifteen children born to this union. He departed this life on Friday, December 19, 2025.
Webster accepted Christ at an early age and united with Mt. Bethel Baptist Church in Raymond, Mississippi, under the leadership of Reverend Henry.
He attended Jackson Public Schools and later continued his training through Job Corps. Known for his practical skills and hands-on abilities, Webster used his talents in maintenance and repair work and was often willing to lend his skills to others until his health no longer permitted him to do so.
Webster found great joy in nature and was known as an avid outdoorsman. He especially enjoyed fishing, finding peace and relaxation near the water. These moments reflected his appreciation for life’s simple pleasures and provided time for quiet reflection.
Webster leaves behind his children: Michelle Singleton, Monique Singleton, Michael Singleton, and Marlon Singleton; grandchildren: Kadijah McPhatter, Nakira Singleton, Jamal Harris, Lamaj Harris, and Ajani Bennett; great-grandchildren: Kahlief Dotton, Jr., Kahlil Dotton, Jamyla Harris, Kianis Dotton, and Knowledge Dotton; sisters: Vera (George) Dixon and Lena Tyler of Jackson, Mississippi, and Mary Singleton and Eunice Singleton of Flint, Michigan; sister-in-law: Wyonie Singleton of Bolton, MS; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Will Singleton and Pearl J. Singleton; sisters: Betty Singleton, Dorris Patrick, Queen Banks, and Alberta Singleton; and brothers: Cleo Singleton, Tim (Eula) Singleton, Willie (Debra) Singleton, Linell Singleton, Earnest Singleton, and Jerry Singleton.
